The main reasons are as follows.
1. Poor fixing temperature
a. The fixing temperature of the printer is determined according to the thickness of the paper (such as plain paper, thick paper, etc.). The Fuser film sleeve manufacturer tells you if you are printing on thick paper, and the setting on the printer is plain paper, especially In this type of printing paper covered with toner on the entire surface, it is very easy to have insufficient fixing temperature, resulting in poor fixing. The solution is to set the appropriate printing paper.
b. The heat of the fuser is usually heated by the lamp tube inside the fuser roller. If the speed of the printer is relatively slow and the demand for heat is not high, then there is usually only one lamp tube. However, if it is a high-speed printer, because it needs to output a large amount of heat in a short time, it is necessary to design two lamps, one is mainly responsible for heating the middle area of ​​the paper, and the other is responsible for heating the two sides of the paper. The solution is to replace the lamp.
2. Poor pressurization
The fuser is usually composed of a fuser roller and a pressure roller. The two are pressed by a spring to form a pressure area (Nip), which heats and presses the paper to achieve the purpose of fixing. There are one spring on each side of the fuser. If there is a problem with the spring on one side, the pressure on this side will not be enough, which will result in poor fixing. In this case, poor fixing usually starts from a certain part of the paper, and then spreads to the edge of the paper, and the degree of poor fixing will continue to increase. Solution Replace the spring.
3. Broken fixing roller
Today, when the laser printer technology is very mature, the fuser is a very interesting existence. But one thing is that the heat must be applied to the paper through the fixing film. Some manufacturers’ fixing film is directly on the fixing roller (with a lamp inside), and some manufacturers heat the lamp independently, which passes through after heating the fixing film.
